Obsessive-compulsive disorder, or OCD, is a condition where a person is compelled to perform repetitive tasks and is filled with unwanted thoughts. “Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a condition characterized by persistent obsessions and compulsions. Obsessions are intrusive and unwanted thoughts, images, or urges, which can include a fear of contamination or germs, intrusive thoughts about harming oneself or others, persistent doubts about safety, preoccupation with order, symmetry, or exactness, and distressing religious or moral thoughts,” wrote Therapist Maythal Eshaghian.(Unsplash)
