Triumph Speed 400, Scrambler 400X Get Rs. 10,000 Discount As First Anniversary Celebration; Here’s How Much They Cost Now

Triumph Motorcycle India is celebrating the first anniversary of Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X by announcing a discount of Rs. 10,000.

To celebrate the first anniversary of its mid-range motorcycle segment, Triumph Motorcycle has announced a discount of Rs. 10,000 on the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X in India. The British two-wheeler manufacturer launched both bikes in India last year in collaboration with India’s Bajaj Auto.

The bikes have been generating good volumes for the marquee since debut, surpassing the 50,000 mark in just a year. The company achieved this sales figure for the bikes across 50 countries, including India, the UK, the USA and Japan. Vespa 946 Dragon Limited Edition Scooter Launched in India.

With a special discount of Rs. 10,000, the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X now cost Rs. 2.24 lakh and Rs. 2.54 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), making them more competitive offering in the Indian two-wheeler industry. It’s worth noting that the brand is offering this discount on both bikes till July 31, 2024.

Though the bikes employ the same platform, the Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400X differ a lot in terms of application. The former is a modern retro roadster, whereas the latter is a scrambler that can be taken both on-road and off-road. Triumph’s Scrambler carries bigger wheels and longer travel suspension than its younger sibling. Apart from that, it also gets block pattern tyres specifically designed to take on off-roading conditions. Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Launch Confirmed on July 17.

Both bikes employ the same 398 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine tuned to make 39.5 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 37.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox. As for competition, the Speed 400 will take on the upcoming Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 and Hero Mavrick 400. On the other hand, rivals of the Scrambler 400X include the Royal Enfield Scram 411 and the Yezdi Scrambler.
