About the Organisers
Legal Cell, Kerala is conducting a National Conclave to celebrate the rise of India as a force to be reckoned with among the world nations. The Conclave also seeks to highlight the various milestones that the Country has achieved over the past decade, especially in the legal arena.
Better management of litigations, promoting Mediation and Conciliation, computerization of courts, Improved access to justice, speedy dispensation of justice, etc. are some of the reforms that have been brought about in the legal arena in the recent past by the Government. As part of the same, a program for law students is being conducted on 21.02.2024. The program includes competition for law students from colleges all over Kerala.
Details of the Competition
- Article Writing (This will be an individual competition)
Topic: Article 360; financial emergency and its effect or Building a corruption-free India by committed citizens.
No of Words – 1500-2000
Last date for Submission – 20.2.2024
Citations to be included. - Quiz (This will be a team event, a Team consisting of 2 people. 1 person can be kept as reserve)
Topic: Indian Constitution - Client Counseling (This will be a team event, a Team consisting of 2 people. 1 person can be kept as reserve).
Eligibility
All law students from recognized law colleges in Kerala are eligible to participate.
Location
MKD Hall, Chamber Complex, Near High Court of Kerala, Ernakulam.
